Obelisk's Are Still Around

You probably think that obelisks are ancient and they don't exist anymore.  If you thought that you would be wrong.  Although obelisks were made in Egypt few of the original pillars remain in Egypt.  Many have been moved to different countries and different cities.  Rome now has 13 obelisks that is more than any other city in the world.  There are obelisks in Paris, London and even New York City.  The most famous obelisk in the U.S. is the Washington Monument.  As you can see obelisks are very important to the Egyptians.
